19th Century Folk Mustard Wall Pocket
19th century wall pocket in mustard color paint, made from layers of thin pieces of wood with carving at the edges of the top layers, and accented with brass domed tacks. The surface has worn away in some areas, showing the original paint layers in pink and green. On the back are remnants of a colorful paper label, possibly a cigar box label, which is likely what this wall pocket is constructed from.
Condition: As mentioned above, there is wear to the surface, including missing paint, some areas of missing wood, scratches, and cracks.
