19th century wall paper covered rustic wooden box with a leather-hinged lid from southeastern US. This is a simple humble box that was lovingly covered inside and out with hand printed wallpaper remnants.
Condition: Distressed overall with deterioration of the wallpaper covering, especially on the exterior. Some scattered water damage. All consistent with the age and use of this object.
