Collection of five door notes of delivery instructions or notes for guests. Circa 1930s.
These include:
"We are in the garden, please come around. 3" x 5"
"Please do not disturb" 3.75" x 4.75"
"Please leave packages next door at 63-40" 3" x 3.75"
"Please leave packages with my neighbors at blue corner house main floor Halle" 3.5" x 5.5"
"Grocer Please leave package on the porch or next door with my neighbors" 3.5" x 4.5"
The reverse of the last one is a printed removal notice of Dr. and Mrs. Max Halle to Elmhurst, L.I., New York. Dr. Halle had been a leading plastic surgeon in Berlin, working on soldiers returning from war before coming to the US to practice.
Condition: Overall good condition with expected signs of age and use.
