Circa 1900-1910s French cotton pull over half button front collared shirt, monogrammed "AC" at the bottom of the bib front. The fabric is a subtle striped warm white brushed cotton with a sturdy linen or linen-like white cotton for the sleeves. The brushed cotton is flannel-like in the hand.

Curious red stitching at the arms and collar adds poetic beauty. The shell buttons, hand darning, and gathering at the back neck are some of the details that make this shirt so special.

Gussets and single button closure at the sleeve cuffs.

Condition: Overall good condition for its 100+ years. Old mends, some bleeding from the red stitching, small rust mark at the back, few small holes and scattered marks.

Measurements taken flat:

Shoulder 18.5"

Pit to Pit  27"

Length  42"
