Late 19th-early 20th century Odd Fellows scythe, white polychromed wood and metal. In Odd Fellows Lodge ceremonial symbolism, the scythe's most important job is to harvest tall crops like wheat. In rural imagery it's related to sowing, growth, and reaping.
