Circa 1940s painting, depicting a farmhouse and painted on a cedar shingle. This is a moody house portrait, with the central subject surrounded by, and partly obscured by trees. The house has a porch running along the front and two chimneys.
There are numbers written in pencil on the back of the shingle, and you can imagine it being a discarded material from a house repair project.
Condition: Surface marks, scratches, and some wear to the edges.
