Circa turn of the century oil on canvas painting of a nude on a terra cotta ground that was removed and restretched so that it is now on the backside of blank primed canvas. The artist likely intended to reuse the canvas, but never painted the primed side. The homemade stretchers now frame the nude.
Condition: As would be expected with its age, this painting shows surface scratches, marks and some surface cracks in the paint. None of this detracts from the overall appearance of the painting.
